Welcome

It's no surprise that we think Grove Farm House is special, but here's what Alastair Sawday said in Special Places to Stay:

"Masses of charm and style here - the 1789 farmhouse, in this most unspoilt of villages in the heart of the Cotswolds, is a restful place to stay.

Outbuildings, courtyards, granary (offering spacious self-contained accommodation) are in the same warm stone as the house. Your hosts are friendly, fun and terrific cooks - Angela is Cordon Bleu trained. Breakfasts and dinners are served in the lovely, oak-beamed dining room where there are oil paintings and the original flagged floor. Country bedrooms, with generous sized beds, are fresh and pretty with curtains in Colefax florals and all bathrooms have robes."

From the front garden to the drive
Walking and riding country is all around and there is a village pub offering excellent food.
